Updating social networks simultaneously via Ping.fm

In a world where conferences and seminars are arranged via Facebook, where you know what Anne Curtis is doing at exactly 07:59 in the morning (via Twitter), or you let your friends know you have had a bad lunch in 140 characters or less, being "updated" is sometimes a burden.

I personally have a number of social network platforms: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Plurk, Blogger, Worpress, MySpace, and yeah, even Friendster (just to redirect my Friendster friends to my Facebook page). Updating each one requires some time. But not anymore because I am using Ping.fm.
Ping.fm is a simple and FREE service that makes updating your social networks a snap!

That is their promise and indeed they can deliver. You just have to signup to their FREE service, add other platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc), and start updating them simultaneously. You even have different options in updating your accounts. You may login to Ping and update your status, post your blog, or upload picture in their Web site, and your other accounts will automatically be updated. You may also setup your email or your phone so you can use them to interact with your Ping account. But what I am doing is I am utilizing Google's chat service to update all of my accounts. You just have to add a dedicated Ping account to your list of Google chat friends, and in a second, you can update your accounts by simply sending messages to your Google chat friends. Isn't that great?

Visit their site (http://ping.fm/) and find out other compatible networks and applications.
